Terms of Use

These terms (the “Terms”) govern the use of the mobile app Frisson (the “App”), published by Aroneus SRL, Rue de Hodimont 51, 4800 Verviers, Belgium, VAT BE 0730.644.283 (the “Publisher”, “we”). By creating an account or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

1. Age requirement — adults only

The App is strictly reserved for people aged at least 18. By using it, you certify that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. We reserve the right to close any account for which we have reason to believe the user is a minor.

2. Description of the service

Frisson enables the control of connected intimate accessories over Bluetooth (solo or remotely between consenting users), private messaging, content sharing between users and games for two. Some features rely on servers operated on our behalf (real-time relay, media storage, authentication).

3. Account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity carried out from your account.

4. Consent between users

Remotely controlling an accessory, sending media and conversing are only possible with the explicit agreement of the people concerned, through the App’s consent controls. Any control or sharing must stop as soon as a person asks for it. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

5. User content and rules of conduct

You are solely responsible for the content you publish or share (messages, photos, videos, voice notes, username, etc.). You keep your rights over your content and grant us only the technical licence needed to transmit and display it within the App.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or behaviour, or for abusive users. Content involving minors or non-consensual acts is removed and, where the law requires it, reported to the competent authorities.

6. Reporting, blocking and moderation

Every user can report 🚩 or block 🚫 another user directly in the App (within a conversation, within a match, or via the blocked-users list). You can also write to us at hello@aroneus.com.

We commit to reviewing reports of objectionable content and to acting within 24 hours: removing the content concerned and/or suspending or deleting the responsible account. A blocked user can no longer contact you or be matched with you.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or delete an account, without notice, in the event of a breach of these Terms, in particular the rules in section 5. You may delete your account at any time from the App or by contacting us.

8. Safety and proper use of accessories

Use accessories in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. The App provides safeguards (maximum intensity, automatic stop, emergency stop), but you remain responsible for safe and comfortable use.

9. Intellectual property

The App, its brand and its content (other than user content) belong to the Publisher. Any unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.

10. Warranties and liability

The App is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the Publisher cannot be held liable for content exchanged between users or for indirect damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the competent courts of the Liège district, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of the consumer.

12. Changes

We may amend these Terms. In the event of a significant change, you will be asked to accept them again in the App.
